Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using our website (https://hishopecounseling.com) and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the service. His Hope Counseling (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides pastoral counseling services.

2. Services Provided

His Hope Counseling offers Christ-centered, Scripture-based pastoral counseling. This is not licensed clinical therapy or psychiatric care. We do not diagnose or treat mental health disorders as defined by the DSM-V. Our services are intended to provide spiritual guidance, support, and encouragement based on biblical principles.

3. User Accounts

When you create an account with us (if applicable for future features), you must provide us with information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our service.

4. Bookings and Payments

Our initial consultation session is offered free of charge. Subsequent sessions are subject to fees as listed on our booking page. Payments are processed through a third-party payment processor (e.g., Stripe). By providing payment information, you represent and warrant that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method.

5. Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule a booked session, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee or forfeiture of the session fee.

6. Confidentiality

We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality of your sessions, consistent with pastoral care ethics. However, there are legal and ethical limits to confidentiality, including situations involving harm to self or others, child abuse, or elder abuse, where we may be required by law to report such information.

In no event shall His Hope Counseling, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service. Our service is pastoral counseling and not a substitute for professional medical or psychological diagnosis and treatment.
